Intermountain Centers offers an excellent benefits package to its employees. Eligibility and participation for the following benefits are subject to the terms of employment and Intermountain policies and procedures.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Forty (40) hour per week employees accrue 19 days by the end of the first year, 24 days years 2-5, and 29 days each year following 5 years of employment.
Paid Holidays/Holiday Pay
All full time employees receive either paid holidays, or holiday pay, based on the needs of the program in which they are employed. There are nine recognized holidays per year.
Employees must be full time to be eligible for Health Insurance benefits. Full time is considered any regular schedule of 30 or more hours worked per week. Eligibility begins on the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment. Costs to employees for insurance coverage are reviewed annually.
Intermountain currently offers two PPO medical insurance plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, which are eligible for Health Savings Accounts (HSA) to which Intermountain currently contributes.
Delta Dental of Arizona is the current dental insurance carrier. Covered individuals have an annual $1,500 benefit.
Vision insurance is currently offered through Vision Service Plan (VSP).
Term life insurance and accidental death/disability policies are paid by Intermountain.
Additional employee paid voluntary term life insurance is also available for the employee plus spouse and children.
Long Term Disability Insurance Plan
Full time employees are eligible after two consecutive years of employment. Intermountain pays the employee’s premium.
Employees are eligible after one year of employment, starting on the next available enrollment date after the first anniversary. The Profit-sharing Plan is funded 100% by Intermountain through Wells Fargo Advisors 401(k). The employee has several fund options from which to choose.
The 401(k) Plan is funded only by employee contributions with pre-tax deduction funds. There is a choice of several fund options through Wells Fargo Advisors.
Employees are eligible for educational benefits after one year of employment. For a pre-approved, job-related course of study, the employee may be reimbursed for educational expenses (tuition, books, etc.) up to a pre-arranged amount, with a grade of “C” or better for undergraduate and a grade of “B” or better for graduate work.
